Isn't it obvious that the popular explanation given in the video is a sound one? The thing ionizes air particles and the pressure difference between the upper surface and the lower surface generates enough lift to keep the lightweight balsa wood and glue suspended in the air.
I note in the start of the video (other post an declassification of anti-gravity) is was mentioned that the Biefeld-Brown Effect does not work in a vacuum, if so this means it was due to ion wind effects and not anti-gravity effects.
So, I stand corrected and, Quantum-Flux, you were right.
No, wait a second, this actually has ion current that is propelled through the gaps below and that in combination of the other thing I described is how the lift is generated.
Just a hint on what anti-gravity may entail, is perhaps a perfect vacuum thus utilizing the bouyancy effect in the less than perfect vacuum of space. Unfortunately that requires absolute zero temperatures which is hypothetically an impossible feat.
Another theory that I have is to look for anti-mass. This is something that involves hypothetical spacetime anomolies, like miniature black holes might create. Essentially, these mini-black holes could spawn mass that is repelled by our gravitational field....sounds like science fiction, doesn't it? Well, perhaps it's not, and thus is the beauty of making guesses. ;)
Gravity was supposedly discovered by an Englishman. He admitted the possibility that it could be based upon a force that was everywhere, but blocked by the nearby mass. Hence gravity would be a repulsive force (!) not an attractive one. Think of two vessels at sea. They inevitably shelter one another from whatever currents and winds exist and 2will bump together unless kept apart. Mathematicians cannot solve the three body problem. Yet the solar system solves a twnety thirty body problem daily! Because the mathematicians are garbage in, garbage out. They have not described gravity correctly and the herd are left confused. So sad!
Hmmmm, interesting.
ReplyDeleteNote....still not antigravity though.
ReplyDeleteQuantum_Flux:
ReplyDeleteWhat is your definition of anti-gravity?
Besides, yes, it could be ion wind propelled, but they don't know, got that, they don't know.
It could be that a field of oriented energy is acting to shield the device from the attraction of gravity.
Qunatum_Flux: "...still not antigravity though."
How the hell do you know, if Science doesn't even know exactly what keeps it in the bloody air.
Quantum_Flux, you have been talking through your hat in the last several posts because all this threatens your quantum mehcnaics world view.

ReplyDeleteLol, oh wait a second, that's not what they said in the video....but that's my explanation of it.

ReplyDeleteIs it really anti-gravity that you and OIM are after?

....furthermore, it may be possible to create mini-black holes using electricity, or possibly nuclear forces.
