J.A. West in the YouTube videos identifies several pieces of architectual evidence that supports a predynastic presence in Egypt.

This would suggest either a more primitive society or a more advanced society existed on the Nile before dynastic Egyptian society.

But in an additional interview West points out that Egypt started out at a "high point" and seemingly regressed as time passed.

This could possibly suggest that Egypt was "given" technolgical "tools" without the requisite underlying "understanding" to maintain these tools or build upon them.

If Egypt developed these "tools" why were they seemingly unable to ever improve upon them or at the bare minimum at least "maintain" these "tools"?

This is a question that beggs for an answer.
