New Scientist: Frog defies gravity.
USING a giant magnetic field, scientists at the University of Nottingham and the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands have made a frog float in mid-air.Simon, M.D., Geim, A.K.,. The levitation trick works because giant magnetic fields slightly distort the orbits of electrons in the frog's atoms. The resulting electric current generates a magnetic field in the opposite direction to that of the magnet. A field of 16 teslas created an attractive force strong enough to make the frog float—until it made its escape.
The team has also levitated plants, grasshoppers and fish. "If you have a magnet that is big enough, you could levitate a human," says Peter Main, one of the researchers.
He adds that the frog did not seem to suffer any ill effects: "It went back to its fellow frogs looking perfectly happy."

Unless lately you consider all the stuff about crazy, selfish Leedskalnin. That guy was nuts and kept his secrets to himself. IF (and it's a big if) he did what is claimed, he could have transformed science! Instead he wrote his treatises and moral nonsense about "Fresh Boys" when he could have remade the world.

Epic math fail. The Simon articles were published in 2000 and 2001 therefore not 12 years old.

I did know about it. I've mentioned that frog before. Look it up on this blog. The magnetic field strength was (I recall) about 16 Tesla.

Certainly, you aren't referring to me and that frog, are you? I read about that experiement years ago and never ignored it or denied it.
I'm not sure how I would take credit for it... I was nowhere nearby at the time.
